End of the 2013 is getting closer in Finland. It has been so dark, windy and long day but lights around the city makes Helsinki more alive tonight. I have been walking around in the heart of Helsinki. Russian and Chinese tourists are rushing every where in every shops since it is sale every where. Cafès and restaurants are full of visitors. Alkos are full of people buying beers, champagne, wine, and sparkling wine to prepare the opening of 2014. Guys are ready with suits and tuxedos. Ladies are ready with full make-up with black stockings and high heels for the New Year’s parties. Senaatintori (Senate Square) gives full power with music and dance and ready to launch fireworks at midnight. While, some are preparing dinner to celebrate with the families.
Goodbye 2013. Thank you for dancing through rain with me and sunshine brightening my days.
Welcome 2014. May joy, hope, fun, craziness hugs us more in the following year. Let we dream and achieve more greatness in 2014. And, especially to all of you, I would like to say Happy New Year 2014 where ever you are. A lot of love and kisses to you and your loved ones! Cheers!
