Have you visited to new Vanha Kauppahalli?
Old Market, or in Finnish named Vanha Kauppahalli is an indoor market located in the heart of Helsinki, near the sea harbour. It is one of oldest buildings in Helsinki which makes different flavour to visit for tourists.
Gustav Nyström built Old Market for the purpose of trade transfer in 1889 and until now, it serves its new purpose to bring the freshness of seafood, fruits, vegetables and many more products to its customers.
The Old Market has been renovated for 1 year and opened this month, June 2014 with much more options to choose.
For travellers, some pastries and coffee shops, small wine bar and restaurants are good option to try with. Robert’s Coffee, Story, Alko, Vietnamese Restaurant, and many more you can find.
Traditional but relax plus unique! That’s my impression for this (new and..) Old Market.
