// Tampere, a mini Manchester.. //

Have you ever heard about Tampere or what Finnish people say as Manchester of Finland?

It is a beautiful city located in the north where there were lots of industrial areas such as textiles. You can reach it for 2,5 hours by car, train, or the famous cheap but comfortable, Onni Bus. We can still see Finlayson, one of Finnish famous textile company, in the center of Tampere.

In the center of Tampere, you can find a glass of beer for 4.40 EUR, while in Helsinki center, the price can between 5 -7,50 EUR depending on location.
I am also amazed of Ideapark, a shopping mall, which is worthwhile visited. There are lots of shops and outlets and surprisingly, bigger than Itäkeskus in Helsinki.

Don’t forget to make it ‘city to visit’ next time you travel to Finland.

I walk every day, and I look at the mountains and the fields and the small city, and I say: ‘Oh my God, what a blessing.’ Then you realize it’s important to put it in a context beyond this woman, this man, this city, this country, this universe. – Paulo Coelho
